About Sophie

Sophie is a Los Angeles-based artist specializing in traditional and digital illustration. Inspired by nature, animals, culture, and life experiences, her work often features pastel colors for a whimsical feel. In addition to illustration, she enjoys crafts like bookbinding, papermaking, and crocheting.

Her art has earned several awards, including the Grand Prize in the Calpico Design Contest, where her illustration was featured on limited-edition packaging of their new melon flavored drink. She was also a National Finalist in the Red Bull Doodle Art Contest, with her work displayed at The Whitney Museum. She has always been an avid doodler, and she was thrilled that the long hours she spent doodling during her high school classes finally paid off.

When not creating, Sophie loves watching sketchbook tours on YouTube, exploring dance and circus arts, and indulging in hobbies like reading, pole dancing, and rock climbing—all while making time to nap and cuddle with cats.
